The Solo Artists course curriculum is aimed at develop individual vocal techniques and stylistic identity. The Artists will learn the skills, concepts, and methodology required to demonstrate professional level proficiency on their voice.

The Solo Artists course curriculum is aimed at develop individual vocal techniques and stylistic identity. The Artists will learn the skills, concepts, and methodology required to demonstrate professional level proficiency on their voice. Through this course student will activities and interactions and critical understanding of the meaning of quality performance, and will be able to define quality using technical and interpretive musical criteria and to apply those criteria to their own work and others.
In addition, others activities will be available through the program include recording sessions and on and off campus, concerts, festivals, and tours. All of these experiences will help you develop a sufficient theoretical, conceptual, and philosophical background in the area of vocal performance such that students will be ready to work effectively with others and adapt to changes in the professional music environment.

For duration of study, students will experience proper application of breath management skills to all aspects of vocal performance; singing with accurate intonation, perform in a variety of gospel, contemporary and traditional styles. Student singing with good diction, as well as perform in varying size, instrumentation, and stylistic orientation. As a solo artists it very important to synthesize and integrate knowledge of posture, breathing, and vocal production techniques into daily practice routines and Improvise in a variety of gospel, contemporary and traditional styles.
